ABOUT WSA
WSA is an international educational association focused upon the advancement of Western Studies programs and projects through empirical research, critical thinking and collaboration between its members in association with the Western Studies Institute (WSI). Membership of the WSA consists of students, scholars, practitioners, advocates, administrators, and policy-makers from the Western and Islamic Worlds who specialize in the humanities — specifically business, law and religion — and are concerned with the use of dialogue to address problems, issues and challenges while studying the West in a new perspective.

Mission
The Western Studies Association aims to become the preeminent association of dialogue facilitation, critical-thinking, collaboration and mutual understanding between members and professionals from the Western and Islamic Worlds. In addition, WSA encourages and promotes education through research and other activities between business, law, and religion related to the Western and Islamic Worlds.
Focus
The main focus of the Western Studies Association is development of professional and scholarly communities in the fields of law, business and religion.
